CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – In political debate, the side that keeps its arguments simple and repeats them again and again is likely to gain the advantage. It is an easier sale, especially when the topic is as scary as terrorism.

That's because "simple" and "repetition" are much easier for stupid people to attain.

"In dealing with this situation [Guantánamo], we do not have the luxury of starting from scratch. We are cleaning up something that is -- quite simply -- a mess; a misguided experiment that has left in its wake a flood of legal challenges that my administration is forced to deal with on a constant basis, and that consumes the time of government officials whose time should be spent on better protecting our country."

Donald Rumsfeld's Psycho Love Notes to Georgie W.

Breaking News of Donald Rumsfeld's Complete Lunacy (I know... It's not really "Breaking News")

Here's Jackass Donald Rumsfeld teetering on the edge of sanity at a very early age.

His administration peers are speaking out: "And He Shall Be Judged..."

The Slide Show of never-before-seen documents from the Rumsfeld Pentagon that mixed religion and war. (So fucking disturbing.)

While our other news sources are talking about making over Susan Boyle (certainly not that GQ doesn't talk about close shaves, skinny ties and pointy verses squared-toed shoes, but you know what I mean... it's just a little odd to me that GQ is the one breaking the news of these documents.) GQ has the exclusive documents that reveal how Rumsfeld juxtaposed war images with inspirational Bible quotes and delivered these sheets to the White House HIMSELF. He read them aloud to President Bush. He was also the one that referred to America's war on terror as a "crusade".

If we've been paying attention, none of this should surprise us, really... And when I think back on the 8 years with that administration, it's no wonder why I thought my head was going to explode. It's nice to breathe again, no?

I'm all about looking forward, but it's time for some people to pay.
