A Canary Island Get-A-Way

Have you ever wanted to travel to the Canary Islands?

Don't know where they are? They're right off the Northwest Coast of Africa, just off Morocco to be exact.

My Father used to talk about the Canary Islands like he had one day (or maybe more like a drunken six day binge) planted 6 wives and 20 children there.


Who knows? Maybe I have siblings there.


I wonder if their nostrils are as big as mine?

For their sake and the sake of all the inhabitants of the Canary Islands, I sure hope not.

Anyway, my Father has always talked fondly of the Islands. And I would love to go one day. But seeing how that's not going to happen anytime soon, I'm going to have to live vicariously through this hottie and her food.

This woman can get me growling. As a matter of fact, while reading her website before, I felt a drip of perspiration form at the base of my neck and work its way down the arch of my back to my firm, yet supple ass. And that was just from reading one of her recipes. Nevermind that I was also in the sauna at the time.

I can't imagine what Canary Girl is like in person. Woof! Spank my bottom, shut me up and feed me a falafel.

I love food. As I have already clearly established. But, this is REAL food. So, Nikki lays it out! The recipes...that is.

In fact, they're beautiful photos. Enough to make me pant and yearn...slightly. Okay, okay, a lot. Especially because the things that I "cook" (I use that term lightly) NEVER turn out to look the way that they're suppose to. But, I can still look at the photos and dream, can't I?

When we've exchanged emails, she's always been so sweet, polite, encouraging and articulate. And she laughs at my blogs, so I happen to think that she has a fantastic sense of humor.
