A Favor?

I was going to start at the beginning of our move from California, and tell you step-by-step, what has happened over the last few months...However, I keep getting sidetracked and now, I would like to ask you all a favor.

My Mother had a total knee replacement in late October. And a complication resulted from it. A blood clot. They had to do a by-pass of the clot, and even though rushing her back to surgery infront of me and my Father at 2 o'clock in the morning scared the pants off us, she actually pulled through like a trooper.

For a week, my Father and I shared a bench and two chairs as our bed in her room and stood guard. And once we got her home, Will shopped and cooked every meal. And Dad and I helped the physical therapist and nurse with Mom's recovery. Even with the complication, her progress was right where it should've been regardless of the blood clot and second surgery. 'Cause that's how she rolls.

So, here is where the favor comes in. There's quite a few of you who check this blog daily, still...You haven't given up on me. And I'm grateful, truly.
Well, suddenly, my Mom isn't doing so well...And they're about 15 minutes from our home. They're picking me up and we're headed back to the hospital...

I STRONGLY believe in the power of prayer, meditation and positive thinking. And whether you're Buddhist, Muslim, Jewish, Christian or Hindi, Wiccan, Agnostic or Atheist, I believe that the way we pray, the way we meditate, the way we think and hope is all tied into the same divine. That God/Universe listens to everyone.

The favor that I'm requesting is to ask you to do what you do...Whether it be praying to Jesus, or in the Synagogue, meditating on the Dharmakaya, worshipping Mother Earth, or kneeling to pray in the direction of Mecca, or simply thinking good thoughts, could you send some my Mother's way?

She's scared. And so is my Father...And so am I. And we would be immensely grateful.
