I'm not talking about these kind of bags,

But, these damn things...

You probably remember what me and Sharon Stone think of plastic bags? I thought so...probably hard to forget no matter how hard you try, huh?

Well, I wanted to share with you some recent statistics that have come my way.

* 14 PLASTIC BAGS contain enough petroleum to drive a car a mile. (A MILE!!)

* 380 BILLION (BILLION!!) PLASTIC BAGS or wraps are thrown away in America each year.

* Making a paper bag emits 70% MORE GLOBAL WARMING GASES than making a plastic bag.

* 0 PAPER BAGS biodegrade in landfills due to a lack of oxygen.

* Cities spend up to 17 CENTS PER BAG in disposal costs, wasting literally millions of tax dollars.

So, if you're so inclined, please use canvas bags. Or re-use your plastic/paper bags. My parents actually take boxes to the grocery store with them and use those. Or Save the world 1 bag at a time: www.1BagataTime.com.

We should really all just stop being

weinermobiles and be a little more conscientious and respectful of our home we call Earth. For whether or not it's for good or bad, be rest assured that you DO make a difference. The kind of difference you make is solely up to you.
